The Regional Chamber occupies one of the rooms in the Maków Podhalański Manor House ‘Paczosówka’, the seat of the Municipal Public Library in Maków Podhalański. It was established on the initiative of social activists: Kazimierz Stopa and Emil Wacyk, who donated the collections they had gathered to the museum, which still constitute the basic part of the collection. The exhibition presents old household objects and works of folk artists, including examples of unique white embroidery from Maków. Presented here are also objects and documents pertaining to the history of Maków Podhalański and institutions operating in its area, such as the parish, fire brigade, schools, municipal council.
