CHURCH IN JORDANÓW – THE SANCTUARY OF OUR LADY OF DIFFICULT ENTRUSTMENT

The Holy Trinity Church in Jordanów was built between 1909 and 1913 to a project by Jan Sas-Zubrzycki on the site of an older wooden church. It is one of the examples of the so-called Vistula Neo-Gothic, the authorial style of this famous architect.

Inside, it is worth noticing the neo-Gothic main altar, the chapel of the blessed priests from Jordanów and the nearby Bystra Podhalańska, martyrs of World War II: Piotr Dańkowski and Stanisław Pyrtek, as well as the miraculous 17th century painting of Our Lady of Difficult Entrustment (in the Rococo altar from the first half of the 18th century).
