PRZYSŁOP and ZAKAMIEŃ

Przysłop is a beautifully located, mostly on the southern slopes of Magurka (872 m amsl) group of settlements on the border of three villages: Zawoja, Stryszawa and Grzechynia. There are magnificent views from here, especially of the Babia Góra massif and the Polica Range. There are two tourist trails running through Przysłop connecting Sucha Beskidzka with Zawoja: the red and the black one. On the second of these trails you can also reach the nearby St. Joseph the Worker church built in the 1970s and the Discalced Carmelite monastery in the so-called Zakamień. Near the church, on the surrounding paths, there are interesting Stations of the Cross, built by the inhabitants of the local hamlets in the middle of the last century.
