Walking time: 3 hrs 25 mins

A pleasant, short trip along the eastern edges of the Beskids Mały Landscape Park. On the route we will find a nice mountain hostel, an interesting sanctuary dedicated to St. John Paul II and a wonderful panorama from the Leskowiec peak.

From the bus stop in Tarnawa Górna, the route follows the blue trail signs, passes by a century-old chapel with a statue of the Fallen Christ under the Cross and ascends to the junction of the trails at the so-called Makowe Rozstaje. Continuing the climb, we reach the ridge of Makowa Góra, which leads us to another junction of trails on the main ridge of the Beskids Mały.  Following the blue, yellow, and green trail signs, we will reach the Leskowiec PTTK mountain hostel on the edge of the Barglowa Glade.

Continuing the trip, we set off from the hostel following the yellow and black trail signs, after 5 minutes we stop at the next junction of trails on the Władysław Midowicz Pass. Still going straight ahead, following the yellow and red waymarks, we get to the Leskowiec Peak through a nice beech and spruce forest.

From the peak we follow the yellow trail signs, first through a mountain pasture, then through the forest, crossing several small glades. Finally, the route enters meadows with a view and, crossing the settlements of Pagórek and Wieczorki, it leads down to the valley of the Targoszówka stream and the junction of tourist trails next to the chapel in Targoszów. In the 18th and 19th century the area around Targoszów was a place of iron ore mining, and the chapel was founded by miners working here. We now climb up briefly to the hill called Gronik, where another interesting miners’ chapel stands, and then we descend to the bus stop in Krzeszów, ending the trip
